Night was trained and used for one purpose by the demon hordes: to kill. He lived for that, until they got bored with him. Before tasting his first and final defeat, he is saved by a Lord from the North Clan and given the choice to kill for justice instead of entertainment. 

 

Sent to the corrupt port city of Seg as its sole and first Enforcer, victory eludes him. He is unsure of how many kills he must win before the city yields to the law and his Lord acknowledges him. The Dukes ruling the city and perpetuating its injustices acknowledge him first by making him an offer to forsake the cause and his Lord. He could so easily accept it and rest from the kill...
